Description of the Position
The Digital Print Operator is responsible for a variety of production-related tasks which includes operating large format printers, vinyl cutters/plotters, and laminators.
Responsibilities
- Perform all aspects of Large Format Printing – printing, loading media and inks, vinyl cutting/weeding, laminating, substrate mounting, performing basic machine maintenance, etc.
- Inspect signs and labels for defects to ensure output meets quality standards
- Maintain a high level of product quality and craftsmanship
- Collaborate closely with the rest of our team to ensure success
- Maintain safe and clean production environment
- Position may include cross-training on other equipment or working on special projects as needed
Skills/Qualifications
- Experience operating large format printers, vinyl cutters/plotters, and laminators is a plus
- Strong understanding of the digital printing process is a plus
- Exceptional computer skills
- Ability to to lift 25-50 pounds on a daily basis
- A keen eye towards quality and precision
- Excellent communication skills
- Mechanical aptitude
- A great attitude!
